My name is Yolanda Valles I’m the parent liaison for the Berkowitz Elementary School. My main job is to be a resource to all families, to keep you well informed and connected to the entire school community. Please feel free to contact me via email or phone if I can be of help!  Ways I can help you include:

  • Communicate with the school's principal and school staff.
  • Provide information about programs, policies & procedures, resources, facilitating workshops, family nights, and activities
  • Arrange for interpreters if you need to communicate in your first language. 
  • Assist families to connect with Class Dojo and give school tours
  • Work closely with the school social worker to arrange meetings between you, your child, and school personnel
  • Accompany you to a conference or other meeting at school if needed
  • Connect families to local agencies and resources when needed.
